If you don't have your own SKIIN Garment, you can still use the app to check in and connect with loved ones who do have SKIIN Garments. If you're the wearer of the garment, you can only log in your mood and symptoms in the diary feature. Without the garment, SKIIN Connected Life Heartbeat App will not be able to collect and store your health and wellness data.

Once installed, open the app and follow the steps to set up your account and begin using the SKIIN System.

Is the SKIIN Connected Life Heartbeat App compatible with my phone?

Accepted Answer

Our app is compatible with both Android and Apple phones. For iPhones, you need to be running iOS 13.0 and above. Android phones need to be running OS 9.0 and above.

To connect a SKIIN Garment, your phone must also be compatible with Bluetooth 4.2.

In order to use SKIIN optimally with your Android device, ensure that you have enabled all location permissions.

How do I name my SKIIN device in the app?

Accepted Answer

Follow the steps in the app to pair your device with your Pod. Once the Pod has been identified in the app and paired, you can edit the Pod Name at any time in the Garments page.

How do I ensure the privacy and safety of my SKIIN data when sharing with other connections?

Accepted Answer

We strongly believe in protecting our users' health data. You have ownership of all of your data, and you can customize how your data is shared.

**To customize sharing settings for all of your connections:**

1. In the app, open the Connections page and tap the Settings icon at the top right.
2. This opens the Master Sharing Settings page, where you can select the data sets you want to share with all connections.
3. Tap the Save Preferences button at the bottom of the screen.

Who can I share my health data with?

Accepted Answer

The Connections page helps you to connect, share, and communicate with loved ones and health care professionals. You can choose to share all or some data with all connections, and you can also set sharing settings with individual connections.

We also provide a Quick Access button on this page, to initiate a message, audio call, or video call, enhanced by your biometric aura overlay.

How do I invite someone to connect with me in the SKIIN Connected Life Heartbeat App?

This is done in the SKIIN Connected Life Heartbeat App.

**Follow these steps:**

1. Find and open Community from the bottom navigation bar.
2. Use the Add button, or the + icon at the top right, to add a connection.
3. Tap New Contact, which generates an invite code that you can send to a contact.
4. Tap Send Invite, choose whether you would like to send the code via text or email, and select the contact who will receive the code.
5. Once your contact accepts the connection, the new connection

If you're invited to be someone's connection, you'll receive an invite code from that person. Accepting the invite is done in your SKIIN Connected Life Heartbeat App.

1. Find and open Community from the bottom navigation bar.
2. Use the Add button, or the + icon at the top right, to add a connection.
3. Tap Accept Invite, and enter the verification code that was sent to you.
4. Your new connection will appear in your Connections page.

How do I view my biometric data that is tracked by the SKIIN System?

Accepted Answer

The Metrics page in the app is where your biometric data can be seen. The main page presents your data in card format, with an at-a-glance view of the most recent system-captured biometric results for heart health, activity, sleep, location, and more.

How can I disconnect the Pod from the app?

For optimal performance of the SKIIN system, and to avoid gaps in data, we recommend keeping the Pod connected to the app at all times.

**If you want to disconnect, follow these steps:**

1. In the app, find Devices in the bottom navigation bar and open that screen.
2. In the Devices screen, you'll find a list of Pods paired to the app. Select the Pod you want to disconnect.
3. Scroll down to find the Disconnect button.
