Our Story
Our story began with an idea. Inspired by the challenges he faced while caring for his aging father who was thousands of miles away and suffering from dementia and heart disease, Tony our founder, asked himself, how do we give people and their loved ones more control and a better understanding of what is happening with their health and the health of their loved ones in real time?
Myant was founded in 2010, Tony assembled a small team and set out to answer this question. As they worked to solve this problem they realized they would need to develop a new way for people to monitor their key biometric data and connect to the world around them. To have the biggest impact this new form of connection would need to be something everyone is already familiar with, comfortable, continuous, and bi-directional. The solution would also need to be more proactive, insightful, personalized, and allow people to easily connect with their healthcare providers and loved ones.
Over the following decade Tony and the team developed Myant’s innovative and patented Skiin Textile Computing continuous monitoring undergarments and the Myant Health connected care platform. The Myant Health division was established in 2022 and is the first arm Myant is deploying this new standard for human connection.
